I've never had much of a handle on what he thinks is fun.
Today, he informed me, "You get a circuitboard full of those little microchips, and you have a tech go in and overclock the board, so it runs hot, and have him break one of the transistors. Don't let him tell you which one he broke. You set it up on a hot night, when your IR can barely can barely distinguish it from the background radiation. You set up about two miles away, and you try to pick out and write on the one microchip with the broken transistor. Now that's fun."
